Full description
This is a 8-hour experience from Ubud, built around Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, Handara Iconic Gate and Banyumala Waterfalls. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls of north Bali are bigger and quieter than the ones around Ubud, and further away: Sekumpul, Banyumala, Gitgit and the falls around Munduk are all roughly two hours from Ubud on the road over the mountains past the lakes. Sekumpul is the largest on the island at about 80 metres, and reaching the base means a steep descent of several hundred steps and a river crossing, so it is a walk rather than a viewpoint stop. Munduk sits at around 800 metres, which makes it noticeably cooler and often misty in the afternoon. Days up here usually pair a waterfall with the lake temple at Ulun Danu Beratan and the Handara Gate.

Great day with Aldi our guide who was talkative and informative. Provided great company as well as explaining each place we visited and was happy to take photos and impart his knowledge. Temple was amazing, waterfall swim was exhilarating, walk is a little tricky if lack mobility but doable. Great twin lake view, overall loved the north of the island. Handara gate is a quick photo opportunity, nothing to hang about looking at. Overall a good experience.
It was my best day since i am here. Popo was really nice, introduced Balinese culture to me which was very interesting. Also we stopped to feed monkeys and take pictures about nature. He showed me a hidden local restaurant that served healthy dishes from fresh ingredients. I enjoyed every bite. Last but not least he took pictures about me like a professional :D The places we visited were beautiful, i am so grateful i booked that trip! Thank you Popo!

The tour was absolutely perfect! Our guide, "Strawberry," was incredibly cool and highly flexible with the itinerary. When there were certain stops we wanted to skip, he smoothly accommodated us, letting us choose what we wanted to see instead and taking us right there. It is clear that he truly loves and takes pride in his work. A special extra thanks to him for taking us to try fresh durian and jackfruit at the end. Highly recommended!

This was an enjoyable day out and our guide Agung made it even more enjoyable. He was full of information, but didn’t overload. He helped take photos, which were pretty good. A big thanks to our guide Yuda for an absolutely amazing day in the north of Bali, he is a very friendly and knowledgeable, experienced guide who explained many things about Balinese culture and is also a great photographer who knows the best locations and angles for photos ! This day trip was really good. My tour guide Adi was really good. He was very punctual and he knew alot about the Balinese culture and history. He was also a fabulous photographer, he took so many pictures and videos of me. Overall, great day and well worth it.
