This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Menjangan Snorkeling Trip & Diving, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

West Bali is the empty end of the island, three to four hours from Ubud, where the West Bali National Park covers around 190 square kilometres of dry forest, mangrove and savannah at the north-west tip and is the last refuge of the Bali starling, the island's endemic white bird, which has been bred back from a wild population of a few dozen. Menjangan island, inside the park, has the clearest water and the best wall snorkelling and diving on Bali, reached by boat from Labuhan Lalang or Pemuteran. Banyuwedang has hot springs and mangrove channels by boat. It is a long day trip or, better, a night in Pemuteran.

What an amazing experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, he spotted the birds and wildlife before we did and was able to point them out to us. An added bonus we also saw some turtles. Watching the sunset was just stunning. Highly recommend this trip. Thank you for a stunning evening 🙂
