This is a 3.5-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Menjangan Tour Snorkeling & Diving, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Walking around Ubud means the river gorges and the terraces. The Campuhan ridge is the easy one, two kilometres on a paved path. The hidden canyon at Beji Guwang, in Sukawati, is a river walk through a narrow sandstone gorge with a guide, waist-deep in places, closed after heavy rain. Longer treks head into the hills above Sidemen or Munduk or up Batur and Agung before dawn. Mornings are the time for all of it: by 11:00 the humidity is heavy, and wet-season afternoons, November to March, bring rain from about two o'clock. Carry a litre of water per person and shoes with grip.

lo mejor vimos macacos negros de cola larga en estado salvaje, no uno ni dos, más de tres grupos, fue lo interesante, y el guía muy atento y con inglés correcto. todo lo demás un paseo de hora y media, nos recogieron media hora tarde, casi 45 minutos para llegar, no nos dieron ni agua, y casi 40€ por persona, más caro que la entrada de la sagrada familia

Der Kochkurs hat uns als Familie sehr viel Spaß gemacht! Wir wurden fachmännisch angeleitet und durften fast alles selbst machen. Auf unsere Kinder (10+13) wurde sehr nett eingegangen. Alle drei Gänge haben phantastisch geschmeckt und die Gespräche während des Kochens waren toll! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Akmed and his nephew were wonderful! It was great to see the wisdom of the elders being passed along to the younger generation. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly. They tracked down the black monkeys for us!
