Full description
This is a 8-hour experience from Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Local restaurant. It is run by Get Your Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day around Ubud runs eight to ten hours with a driver-guide and a car, and the route is yours to set. The usual pieces are Tegallalang or Jatiluwih for terraces, one or two waterfalls in Bangli, Tirta Empul for the water temple, the Monkey Forest or the craft villages, and a swing or a coffee plantation stop, with the order set by the light and the queues: terraces and swings first, temples midday, waterfalls when it is hot. Entry fees are usually paid as you go unless the option says all-inclusive. Ubud to the furthest of these is under an hour, but the roads are slow after 9:00, so five or six stops is a realistic day and eight is a rush.
Pickup is offered from Tanjung Benoa, Seminyak, Sanur, Canggu, Kuta and Ubud; the exact spot and time are agreed with Get Your Bali Tours once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, driver, Bottled water, Comfortable car with good air conditioning and Petrol and parking fees. It does not cover Souvenirs and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Suma was our guide for the day, who could not have gone further to make our excursion a success. I had expected a shared tour bus to collect us, but it was just us. The car was clean and comfortable, with drinking water provided., Suma was immaculately turned out, friendly, articulate and knowledgeable. He tailored the itinerary to us, keeping us entertained and informed as we drove around the key spots. If it were possible, I'd award Suma six stars out of five, for going above and beyond. We were walking the monkey forest together and Suma would meet us at the exit. However, a huge rain storm
Endra was our guide. He’s very nice and he knows so much about everything. We had a great time. We were sad that it had to end. We will surely recommend this to our friends who come to visit Ubud.

Our guide Gusti has good knowledge of the local culture since he is a native of Ubud. He came dressed in a traditional attire which we appreciated very much. He has a very pleasant attitude and kind to guide us through the sights, specially the Tirta Empul temple explaining the rituals and the different buildings in the area. His vehicle was clean and very spacious for two people and each person has a backpack too. He is also a good driver so we felt safe in the car with him. I highly recommend his tourist guide and transport services to others. Our tour was all-inclusive of all the entrances

Our guide Komang was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things Bali especially Ubud. He was engaging and really open to sharing his culture with us. The day was jam packed and he offered a lot of useful tips and information that you wouldn’t know unless you talked with a local. He even showed us where to get our clothes laundered. He made restaurant suggestions told us about other great places to explore. Honestly a necessary part of thoroughly enjoying your experience is getting a guide and it doesn’t get better than Komang!
