Full description
This is a 5-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Balitravelescape, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Distances on Bali are short and the traffic is not. Ubud to the airport is 35 kilometres and takes 60 to 90 minutes; Canggu to Ubud is about the same; Sanur to Nusa Penida by fast boat is 30 to 45 minutes and boats are cancelled in a big swell. A driver for the day is the standard way to move around, and the price is usually for the car and driver, not per person, with fuel and parking included and entry fees paid as you go. Give a fixed pickup time and a phone number; Bali's ride apps are restricted from picking up in some areas, which is another reason a booked car is worth it.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Private car transport, driver, Expert fishing guide or captain and Fishing equipment. It does not cover Personal expenses, Gratuities and Barbecuing your caught fish costs extra, so budget for those separately. We had a lovely experience on this trip. The fishing backdrop was beautiful and we even saw tuna jumping, which was amazing to watch. We caught several different kinds of fish and learned a lot about them along the way. Our guide, Eka, was very friendly and informative and made the whole trip really enjoyable. Hotel pick-up and drop-off was super easy and convenient, which made the day completely stress-free. Overall a great experience that we’d definitely recommend!
Het was een top dag, super vriendelijke chauffeur en kapitein. Kapitein wist precies waar die moest zijn voor de vis. We hebben een hoop gevangen en daarna heerlijk de vis gegeten van de bbq gemaakt door de kapitein. Zeker een aanrader voor mensen die willen gaan vissen.

Our driver Wayan was excellent and knowledgeable. He provided valuable information about the island on the way to the fishing trip. I would highly recommend him as your driver. The water was a little rough so we weren't lucky with fishing but overall the experience was great.
Une très belle sortie privée avec un pêcheur du coin. Le pêcheur nous a préparé le matériel et nous a guidé pour trouver où pêcher des poissons que nous avons par la suite grillé au barbecue. Une belle activité que je recommande.
It was a great trip. We visited different fishing locations and caught some fishes. You also can keep the fish. The people are very friendly and nice.
The driver took us to eat, but the restaurant was closed. At the other place we could only get soup and a drink.
