This is a 9-hour experience from Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Tegallalang Rice Terrace and Ulu Petanu Waterfall. It is run by Bali trips, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A highlights day around Ubud strings together the places that photograph best in the order the light suits them: Tegallalang before the coaches, a swing while the queue is short, a waterfall by late morning, and Tirta Empul or a temple in the afternoon. The distances are small but the roads are slow, so the order matters more than the list. Sarongs are needed at every temple and are provided at the gate; swings and some viewpoints charge separately from the tour; and wet-season afternoons, November to March, often bring rain from about two o'clock, which is why these days start early.

Santana war ein super witziger Guide. Wir haben sehr viel und offen mit ihm geredet. Die Tour war sehr ungezwungen & ein paar schöne Fotos gab es als Erinnerung. Santa‘ war immer bemüht, dass es uns gut geht. Er ist auf alle Fragen eingegangen & man hat gemerkt, dass er dies nicht zum ersten Mal gemacht hat. Der Besuch auf der Kaffeeplantage war ein Highlight. Wir haben eine Menge Tee und Kaffee verkostet und anschließend konnte man das was man verkostet hat auch für angemessene Preise kaufen (vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass die Verkostung / Führung durch den kleinen Garten komplett kostenlos
One of the best daytrips I have ever had thanks to my driver Bayu! He gave me good recommendations and options and made sure I had the best time ever! He was very careful, flexible and friendly. I felt very safe. I loved the activities and especielly the carpool karaoke with him! I couldn't evee wish for a better driver/guide! If you want to book a daytrip to Ubud, this is it! But I might not go to the monkey forest again, it didn't seem very ethical place.
Brilliant trip, we did this excursion on our first day in Ubud was a great way to see lots of it with the rice terraces, waterfall, coffee plantation, temple then the monkey forest. Our guide was extremely helpful and informative throughout the whole trip. We enjoyed this day a lot.

We had Ketut as our guide, he was good fun and helpful when it came to answering any of our questions. We were a group of 2x adults and 1x child. I'm not a coffee drinker but really enjoyed the coffee and tea tasting, the waterfall and monkey forest were big highlights for all of us as well. Great day out!
