This is a 5-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Balitravelescape, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The quieter experiences around Ubud and its coast take an hour or two and ask little of you: sound healing sessions with gongs and singing bowls run about an hour lying down in a hall; sunrise fishing trips leave Padang Bai or the Gianyar coast at about 5:30 in a jukung outrigger, hand-lining for two or three hours over the reef before the wind rises, with the catch cooked afterwards if you want it. Both are weather-dependent at the margins, and the boat trips do not run in a big swell.

What a great day out. The boat was fantastic. It was so great to see the stunning sunrise. We catched a lot of fish and the staff was relaxed nice. Especially our guide Topaz was really good. I catched a big Mahi Mahi and he drove us as well to a restaurant where they cooked it for us. What an awesome experience. Thank you
after considering a few different options for fishing whilst we were in Bali we settled on this one with Tapaz and we were all so glad that we did. Tapaz managed the whole process from picking us up in the morning, transfer to the fishing departure at Senur beach, baiting and setting up the rods as well as bagging up the fish and dropping us home. we spent time trolling to start and finish the day and unfortunately didn't get to hook up this time around whilst trolling but were lucky enough to chat with Tapaz after the day where he shared many stories, videos and photos from other recent chart
What a brilliant day out fishing. Tapaz and the captain certainly know their stuff. I took my nephew (9) and my brother out and we caught 60 fish! Due to the increased winds we weren’t able to fish the deeper waters, but we did trolling for a a few hours with only a few bites.. but Tapaz assured us that they would be able to maintain our position over some of the reef areas and sure enough we were soon pulling up 2, 3 even 4 fish at a time. Great experience. The captain and trip organiser were very friendly and would have stayed out fishing all day if we wanted. Unfortunately we were poor fishermen but had a great laugh. Give it a go,
I’m going for the second time and I don’t regret it, everything was cool, I saw a lot of new fish, a flock of dolphins and very beautiful places
Everything went interestingly, we caught a lot of reef fish of different colours and sizes, it was fun! I advise!!!
Tapaz and his friends were very nice we had an excellent time. Fishing was not even the main part. The suggestions and guiding of Tapaz were very much appreciated as he helped us with so much more than Fishing. driving us around and taking good care of us. Fishing was the main activity but spending a great day in good hands was really what we felt
