This is a 6-hour experience in Ubud, built around Taman Beji Griya Waterfall and Cretya Ubud. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tirta Empul is a water temple on the Pakerisan river at Tampaksiring, founded in 962 AD around a spring the Balinese hold sacred. The purification ritual, melukat, means entering the pool and moving from spout to spout under the water in order; two of the spouts are reserved for funeral rites and are not used, and a guide will show you which. Sarongs are provided at the entrance, and you will want a change of clothes for afterwards. The temple is busiest with local worshippers around full moon and on Balinese holy days, which is worth knowing rather than avoiding. The presidential palace built by Sukarno in the 1950s stands on the hill directly above the springs.

Had a great experience with Udi! He was very communicative, reached out on time, and made everything smooth and easy from the start. Super friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable the whole time. The places we visited were amazing. The purification ceremony at the waterfall was an unforgettable experience in such a beautiful, scenic location. Cretya Day Club also left a great impression! I absolutely loved the incredible atmosphere and stunning views over the rice fields while relaxing in the pool with a cocktail. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth the trip and money. The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Also the trauma healing sessions are amazing it has helped in centring me and my emotions I would definitely recommend it. I would do it again when in Bali 😊
