Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Lemukih Trekking Adventure, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The waterfalls of north Bali are bigger and quieter than the ones around Ubud, and further away: Sekumpul, Banyumala, Gitgit and the falls around Munduk are all roughly two hours from Ubud on the road over the mountains past the lakes. Sekumpul is the largest on the island at about 80 metres, and reaching the base means a steep descent of several hundred steps and a river crossing, so it is a walk rather than a viewpoint stop. Munduk sits at around 800 metres, which makes it noticeably cooler and often misty in the afternoon. Days up here usually pair a waterfall with the lake temple at Ulun Danu Beratan and the Handara Gate.

We had such a wonderful experience exploring the waterfalls in Bali! Our guide Gedeguniarta was absolutely amazing — very kind, caring, patient and always ready to help. He made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the whole activity, especially when we were struggling a little during the walk and around the waterfalls. Unsere Trekking-Erfahrung zu den Sekumpul- und Fiji-Wasserfällen war wirklich großartig. Unser Guide Yoga war super freundlich, entspannt und hat uns unterwegs einiges erklärt. Außerdem hat er richtig tolle Fotos von uns gemacht. Der Weg nach unten ist allerdings anspruchsvoll – ungefähr 465 Stufen und definitiv nichts für schlechte Kondition. Die Anstrengung lohnt sich aber absolut. Die Wasserfälle sind beeindruckend schön. Besonders der Fiji-Wasserfall mit den drei Wasserfällen zusammen wirkte auf uns noch etwas majestätischer. Man wird definitiv komplett nass durch den starken Sprühnebel, d
