Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Experience silver class sidemen, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Ubud is the centre of Bali's craft villages: Celuk for silver and gold work, Mas for woodcarving, Batuan for its style of painting, and Batubulan for stone. Craft classes take the same skills into a workshop with an instructor and take three to four hours, and you leave with the piece you made. Silver classes work in sterling silver with hand tools, saws and a torch; carving classes work in soft hibiscus or jackfruit wood; batik uses hot wax and dye on cotton and needs time to dry. The classes are hands-on rather than demonstrations, so wear something that can take dye or wax.

It does not cover Additional silver beyond 5 grams costs 70k per gram and The silver allowance cannot be shared with another person, so budget for those separately. You This was a great activity. There was just two of us and we had an in depth class to make our own rings. It was very informative and driven by our working pace and we really enjoyed the level of detail in each of the steps and getting to design and do it all ourselves. It was very hands on and enjoyable, and we were delighted with the end results.
The host family was absolutely delightful! We took the evening class and it was just us with the host family so we had a very private experience! We learned a lot, laughed a lot and the host dad even took us to get some gas after everything was closed as we were low and wouldn’t have made it home otherwise! I would do it again if i could!!

I liked the family and the atmosphere, overall ot was a good experience and we made some nice bracelets. We had to pay xtra for the amount of silver we used offcourse, beiden the 5 grams included. We recommend this activity.

Een lieve vrouw neemt je mee in de ambacht van het ring maken in een kleinschalig atelier. Ze nam voor alles de tijd en we mochten alle stappen zelf proberen. Erg leuk en zeker een aanrader.
