Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast in Ubud

It really worths. Great guide, great view. I would improve the breakfast

Good way to get up the mountain-is quite a steep climb but could stop frequently. Was very windy and cold on top so take couple of layers and prepare for the sand/ash blowing into eyes. My son had problems as wore contacts but fortunately we had sunglasses! Banana sandwich boiled egg(good to keeping hands warm)fruit and crispy bar so if GF need to take extra-maybe a banana separate to bread would have helped or ask guide at bottom. Coffee plantation was a lot more interesting than I was expecting especially the tasting at the end.

I must say I had an excellent time going on this tour. Our guide for the day was Kerdek Mertawan; he was very motivational and helped us immensely to get past some areas that were just too hard for us to push through, very calm and didn't rush anyone. 10/10. Then our driver Wardana - he came exactly on time. We honestly got a bit late to get ready and he didn't say anything, just stayed until we are done to get moving, the vehicle was also very clean and his driving style was as smooth as it comes, again I can't help but feel everything was perfect 10/10 driver too. The hike itself was amazing

Ended up jumping on a bike ride offered during the hike – pretty scary, pretty exciting and a real adventure! Felt safe and looked after the whole time. The hike’s pretty short but super steep. Gotta have good shoes with grips!

I absolutely recommend this guided hike! I had Aldi as my driver and Dedy as my guide up Mount Batur. I went alone, and Dedy was amazing and offered to also take pics at the top, he provided a yummy breakfast and was supportive and attentive of our group, whenever we needed a break on the hike. I also loved our time at the coffee plantation and it was nice to have some coffee at the end of the hike. This was overall 11/10 and I’m telling everyone I know about this! Such a great experience

The trip was well organised Denny picked us up on time from Ubud and coordinated the time and confirmed the location well in advance - he was kind and helpful and dropped us off at MT Batur. The trek is not for beginners - it's moderate/advanced in a few places given there is only rubble and not proper path. Do-able if you have trained or workout in general. our guide was sweet and the breakfast is nice. good sunrise views! Denny diligently waited and took us to a coffee/tea tasting after and dropped us back in a timely manner to our hotel. overall great experience

Our Driver Satria was effective at communicating and always on time. He made the transportation comfortable. The mountain hike is not beginner friendly. The distance itself may be short but the pace at which tou need to go to keep up can be intense if you are not a regular hiker. The guide up the mountain was amenable to taking breaks. You may not be the only people with the guide so taking too many breaks may interfere with others and cause a late arrival to the top of the mountain. after climbing a quarter of the way, you do have the option to then use a mountain bike for the rest of the asc

We had a blast! First, our driver was perfectly on time, as planned during a quick discussion with him before. Denny is a great smiling person and such a good driver. We all fell asleep on the way back. Then, the ascent was ok, not as complicated as expected and you have options allong the way (motorbikes) if you feel you cannot make it to the top. Top was really windy but you cam rent a blanket and buy coffee. The view is definitely worth the super early wake up!

The hike to Mount Batur has probably been the highlight of our 2 week trip Our driver Bayu was very sweet! He responded to all my questions on the lead up, was perfectly timed and easy to chat to. Our guide Kadek Rati was absolutely awesome - she was super caring, attentive but also a bit cheeky/fun! She gave everyone equal amount of attention in the group and we all got some awesome photos of life time memories (not exaggerating, her photo and video skills were on point)
