Full description
This is a 2-hour experience from Ubud, built around U Fun Field. It is run by U Fun Field, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

U Fun Field sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with U Fun Field before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This runs outdoors, so the operator can call it off for rain, wind or sea conditions, and that decision is usually made on the day. If they cancel, you choose: another date, or your money back in full. We do not keep a booking fee on a tour that did not run.

The photographers/guys at the swing were so much fun and made you feel comfortable taking pictures and posing. Their energy was so much fun! I loved taking the pictures here. The zip line was short, but still very pretty! You could honestly skip the sky bike, not super exciting! But overall a great experience
We visited field during peak season and had an amazing experience. What surprised us the most was that, unlike Alas Harum, there were almost no queues. At Alas Harum we had to wait around 2 hours just for one swing, while here there were 4 swings available, 2 sky bikes, a zipline, and even a Superman zipline (which costs extra because it's not included in the 4-activity package). The rice terraces may not be quite as spectacular as those at Alas Harum, but the overall experience is even better. U fun field staff were amazing and the activities brilliant, we arrived early - no lines and all our kids were able to do all the activities. Well worth the money Restaurant / cafe area needs a little work as to having the menu available not just a couple of each dish.
The guides were amazing and very funny/chill! It was our first time so we didn’t think about bringing small tips for them but next time we will! Definitely a thrilling short ride back and fourth from coconut tree to coconut tree! Will do the Superman one next time! Haha!
