This is a 4-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by BALIVOYA TOUR, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Walking around Ubud means the river gorges and the terraces. The Campuhan ridge is the easy one, two kilometres on a paved path. The hidden canyon at Beji Guwang, in Sukawati, is a river walk through a narrow sandstone gorge with a guide, waist-deep in places, closed after heavy rain. Longer treks head into the hills above Sidemen or Munduk or up Batur and Agung before dawn. Mornings are the time for all of it: by 11:00 the humidity is heavy, and wet-season afternoons, November to March, bring rain from about two o'clock. Carry a litre of water per person and shoes with grip.
