This is a 8-hour experience in Ubud, built around Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Ubud Palace and Ubud Traditional Art Market. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A highlights day around Ubud strings together the places that photograph best in the order the light suits them: Tegallalang before the coaches, a swing while the queue is short, a waterfall by late morning, and Tirta Empul or a temple in the afternoon. The distances are small but the roads are slow, so the order matters more than the list. Sarongs are needed at every temple and are provided at the gate; swings and some viewpoints charge separately from the tour; and wet-season afternoons, November to March, often bring rain from about two o'clock, which is why these days start early.

WHAT A SUNRISE! It was an amazing experience one of the best of our holiday. And Bimas our guide made it all that better. He was amazing. It’s a very early start so a hot coffee before you head off was a good start. Then after to kick it off right Bimas put on some good tunes and me my wife and Bimas sang all the way to the sunset point. He was amazing with taking so many photos and telling us how to pose to remember our honeymoon!! Our day out in Ubud with Dwipa was amazing. Dwipa shared so much with us about the culture, traditions and rituals of Balinese life, and was happy to answer our many questions. The planned stops amounted to a great mix of locations and experiences, and there was so much to see along the way too, from the windows of our comfortable, air-conditioned car. It's hard to imagine how we would have experienced any of this without Dwipa’s expert driving. It was a privilege to be guided through Tirta Empul temple by someone as authentic and passionate. Suksma Dwipa!
