Full description
This is a 3-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by PT. Gorilla Adventures Bali, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
White-water rafting near Ubud runs on the Ayung river, about twelve kilometres of class II to III water through a gorge below Payangan, taking around two hours on the water. Telaga Waja in the east is steeper, class III to IV, and used by operators who want more of a run. Both rivers rise sharply after rain, which makes the wet season, November to March, the faster ride and the dry season the calmer one; operators cancel when the river is genuinely too high. There is a walk down steps to the put-in and up again at the end, and everything you take gets wet, so leave phones in the dry bag the operator provides.
The price covers Guide, Solo or tandem 1.5-hour ATV tour, 3-hour rafting tour, Safety equipment and Shower and changing room access. It does not cover Tips and Photos and videos, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

It was amazing, the view was really nice, the drive was nice and smooth our tour guy ~Gede Dresta who drove us was very kind and professional, he made our ride very comfortable. ATV and Rafting was the experience we had. It was so fun and wasn't unsafe at all. Would love to come back and do it again. The Raft drivers were very nice they made the raft drive very fun.
We started the activity with ATVs riding, which was rather hard for me as a first timer doing it - it took a bit of practice. The track could be a bit longer, but it was very varied and the driving in jungle was overall very unique experience. For the rafting - the gorge in which the river was sitting is probably the most interesting environment we have experienced for rafting. Unfortunately, during this time of year (early September), the water level was not very high, which resulted in lots of bumping into rocks and sides of the canyon. My wife and I had a great time! Our driver, TuGus, was fantastic and informative about our trip and patient with us when we had a lot of questions about the tour and Balinese and Indonesian culture. The activities itself was a lot of fun and the guides made sure we were taken care of made safety a priority. I would recommend again if I had friends who are visiting..
The activity itself was so much fun, my cheeks hurt from laughing too much. We got transportation included and our driver named TuGus was absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly and kind, he really did make the whole day a lot better.
This activity was so worth it and we would definitely recommend. DeDe, our driver picked us up and explained the whole day and helped us out with each step, he made the whole day seamless and we really enjoyed his company. He was lovely and chatted with us the whole time :) The ATV was well organized and the guides were really helpful. The rafting was really fun and different to other activities and we would definitely recommend adding this onto the trip. Our guide Madi was really friendly and explained everything well.
