Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Ubud. It is run by Pertiwi Adventure Bali, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
ATV tracks around Ubud run through the villages north of the town near Payangan and Tegallalang, on a mix of dirt road, plantation track, river bed and, on most routes, a section of deep mud that is the part people remember. Rides are usually 1.5 to 2 hours on the machine, on tandem or single quads, with a guide leading. You will be dirty from the knees down and often entirely, so wear clothes you do not care about; operators provide boots, helmets and a shower afterwards. Minimum ages for driving vary by operator and are stated on the option, and children usually ride as passengers.
The price covers Welcome Drink on Arrival, Instructor, Trusted Insurance, Equipment with International Standard Protection and Various Buffet Lunch. It does not cover Merchandise and Photography, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

It was so much fun!! We had the time of our lives
Was a lot of fun, we got up early and did the 8:30 run and it was well worth it as we beat the crowd and it wasn’t as busy! The track was pretty going through the framers rice fields, then into the muddy jungle. We did stop for about 20 mins within the hour run which was disappointing but other than that we got wet, muddy and laughed a lot which is what we signed up for! We would recommend doing!
Buggy experience was incredible. Really nice drive through the rice fields then through jungle areas with massive mud puddles, rugged terrain and steep hills followed by many goes around a private built off road track with jumps and massive mud puddles. Genuinely one of the best ATV/Buggy rides I’ve done on all my travels. And to top it all off very nice facilities with hot showers and towels (there are outdoor showers to wash the mud away before you head inside to the hot indoor shower area, which is split male and female) so you’re not spending the rest of your day covered in mud. Really good fun! wanted something a little different from the usual ATV experience so we tried this out and I'd 100% do it again. really REALLY dirty when raining so be warned
The buggy ride took about an hour, as described. We were a larger group, driving old really worn buggies. Half way through we had a break - as announced - but surely too long. Good 15-20 minutes. The circuit was limited. The majority of time we drove within one muddy area consisting of different path. We got really muddy and didn’t mind as this was one of the reasons we did it. He however have done different buggy tours in Bali and other places around the world so can for sure say that this circuit was lacking diversification. Er was niets leuks aan !! Na 10 Minuten viel de motor van de buggy af en moesten daarna 15 minuten wachten op een nieuwe. 5 minuten na de nieuwe buggy te hebben gereden was er een pauze van 15 minuten wat niet van te voren word aangegeven bij de omschrijving. Deze 15 minuten zijn 20 minuten geworden, omdat zij graag nog een sigaretje wilde roken. Vervolgens nog eens 10 minuten gereden op de zelfde baan van een paar meter.
