Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Ubud, built around Leke Leke Waterfall, Ulun Danu Bratan Temple and Banyumala Waterfalls. It is run by Hire Bali Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.
Pickup is offered from Bali, Ubud and Kuta; the exact spot and time are agreed with Hire Bali Driver once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Bottled water, Air-conditioned vehicle, All entrance fees, Sarong to enter the temple and Hotel pickup and drop-off. It does not cover Alcoholic drink and Meals, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

surya was a wonderful guide! the service was very professional and informative - i had a lovely time exploring various waterfalls and a rice terrace. when i was not able to visit the planned temples, surya easily pivoted us to a monkey forest visit which was really fun! his car was also spotless and the driving was smooth. overall a lovely experience.
Our day trip with Aron was amazing. Aron made sure we were looked after and brought us to all the hot spots - including a coffee plantation that had its very own luwak! During this day we have seen amazing places. I enjoyed everything. Our guide Lewer was a very good driver and was patient. He gave us enough time to make the most of these beautiful places. I just would have liked to know more things about history of the temples and Balinese culture.

We had a wonderful day with our driver Shaka. He picked us up at our house with a friendly smile and drove us to 2 idyllic waterfalls were we had the possibility to swim and enjoy the magical environment. He respected our tempo and gave us useful tips. During the temple visits he proved to be an excellent guide He suggested in the late afternoon to skip the Watertemple because of the distance remaining and to visit instead The Royal Taman Ayun Temple. This visit was a great experience since we were all alone in the impressive Temple complex where you can see a little museum and an instructive
