Full description
This is a 5-hour experience in Ubud, built around Tegenungan Waterfall, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Ubud Traditional Art Market. It is run by Hire Bali Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

Our guide Agung rai was exceptional. we did a 12 hour day but every aspecy of it was well thought out. not only was he knowledge he was super caring' carrying our 1 year old around to help so we could do some of the activities with our 6 year old. it was like 4 tours in 1 and I couldn't recommend it enough.

my guide was Dudy and from the start communication was great. During the whole day I felt safe with him and we had a really fun time. Our guide Wayan was very friendly and full of knowledge, and was a great photographer. Communication leading up to the day of our tour was clear and concise for the uplift location and time, and anything we needed to bring with us. He went at our pace for when we just wanted to have a look around the sites and when we were ready to carry on he was right there with us. Highly recommend
