Waterfalls, Kehen Temple and Rice Terrace Tour in Ubud

This is a 9-hour experience from Ubud, built around Kanto Lampo Waterfall, Tibumana Waterfall and Kehen Temple. It is run by Bali Driver Seminyak, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The Tegallalang terraces are twenty minutes north of Ubud on the road to Kintamani, and they are working paddies fed by the subak irrigation system that UNESCO listed in 2012. Before about 8:30 in the morning the valley belongs to the farmers, the paddies are still wet from the night, and it is cool enough to walk down through the terraces and up the far side. By ten the coaches from the south arrive and the road above the terraces becomes a line of cafes, swings and photo platforms. There is a small entry fee at the viewpoint, and farmers along the paths through the fields ask for a few thousand rupiah to cross their land, which is normal. The swings are separate businesses with their own prices.

Pickup is offered from Denpasar, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Kuta, Gianyar and Bali; the exact spot and time are agreed with Bali Driver Seminyak once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

The price covers Hotel Pick up and Drop off, Private Driver and Guide, Mineral Water and Entrance Tickets. It does not cover Meals, Personal expenses and Tips, so budget for those separately. Bali Driver Seminyak sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Bali Driver Seminyak before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
