This is a 2-hour experience in Uluwatu. It is run by Cakrawala asia, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The beaches on the Bukit peninsula around Uluwatu are coves below limestone cliffs, reached by steps, and each behaves differently with the tide. Padang Padang is small and sheltered and fills quickly; Bingin is a narrow strip below warungs built into the cliff; Suluban is the cave entrance to the Uluwatu surf break and mostly disappears at high tide; Melasti is a long open beach with a road down to it. The surf here is reef break for experienced surfers, with Padang Padang's left barrelling in the July and August swells, and Dreamland the only sand-bottom beach break suitable for lessons. Low tide exposes the reef and is the time for rock pools, not swimming.
