Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Uluwatu, built around Nusa Dua Beach, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and Uluwatu Temple. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Bukit peninsula, the limestone block at the southern tip of Bali, holds Uluwatu temple and its Kecak, the cliff beaches, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, a 121-metre figure of Vishnu riding Garuda completed in 2018 after 28 years, which stands in a cultural park with dance performances through the day. The peninsula is dry, hot and mostly without shade, and distances between the beaches are longer than they look on a map, so a driver for the day is the usual way to see it. Sunset is at about 6:15 to 6:30 all year, and Uluwatu's cliff path fills for it.

This small group tour is best way to see Uluwatu highlights in a day. Agus our guide was amazing - probably the best guide we’ve had in a long time. He was funny, entertaining and knowledgable. He took lovely pictures of my husband and I and shared so many interesting stories and cultural insights. We are so thankful!

The trip can be described as amazing - we enjoyed the majestic statues in the GWK as well as the picturesque beaches. We were pleasantly surprised by the spectacle of atmospheric Kecak dance at the end as well. An amazing sightseeing and cultural experience overall. The guide / driver was friendly and talkative, he got us from the hotel and everywhere else on time. The only nitpicks are maybe only the rather rushed GWK park in favor of visiting the less impressive beach / (optional) watersports activity and not really a whole lot of explanation and context was provided to the individual parts

Great day, it was a very hot day so our driver made sure we were kept hydrated and also entertained on the way. He was fantastic Ryan a big shout out to you- you would make a professional photographer! Thank you for taking us through our tour- it’s a full day and a lot of driving so thank you so much! Greatly appreciated. Would recommend the culture centre is a must! Beaches were beautiful and the culture fire dance it’s in the best place watching the sunset! Well looked after and Ryan was our personal security guard with the monkeys at Uluwatu!
I had a great day with Widi 😊 he looked after us very well and explained information at each destination. The cultural park and Uluwatu temple were beautiful, and Widi gave us advice and reassured us about the monkeys at Uluwatu temple. You should listen to your driver when going here and put phones/sunglasses/hats away- I saw a lot of these being stolen and a phone was dropped from the top of the tree by a monkey! The fire dance at sunset was amazing, beautiful views from Uluwatu. Thank you Widi 😊
We had an amazing day with Andrian, he was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Bali. The GWK park was interesting, the statues are stunning. The beaches were beautiful and it was great to see how versatile Bali can be from volcanic north to limestone south. The Uluwatu temple was stunning, the monkeys were better than expected. (listen to advice and do not have glasses on or anything in your hands and you will be fine). The kecak dance was very enjoyable - especially with the sunset view.
