Canggu's beach clubs sit along the black-sand beaches of Berawa and Batu Bolong, and Uluwatu's on the cliffs above the surf breaks; most work on a minimum spend that a daybed reservation goes towards. Sunset, at about 6:15 to 6:30 through the year, is when they fill. Jimbaran, on the bay south of the airport, is the place for a seafood dinner on the sand, with the grilled fish sold by weight at rows of restaurants along the beach and the planes landing behind you. Dress codes are relaxed by day and smarter after dark, and the popular clubs need a reservation on weekends.

We followed your instructions and at 4pm there was no one at Bayang Cafe. We waited until 415 and still not anyone could help us. There was no set up on the beach and we couldn't ask about our voucher due to the language barrier. This was very disappointing as it was my birthday. We had to leave and catch a taxi back to Legian. Can I please have a refund for this experience that failed to happen. Thank you Jackie
