The Bukit peninsula, the limestone block at the southern tip of Bali, holds Uluwatu temple and its Kecak, the cliff beaches, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, a 121-metre figure of Vishnu riding Garuda completed in 2018 after 28 years, which stands in a cultural park with dance performances through the day. The peninsula is dry, hot and mostly without shade, and distances between the beaches are longer than they look on a map, so a driver for the day is the usual way to see it. Sunset is at about 6:15 to 6:30 all year, and Uluwatu's cliff path fills for it.

Wir wurden nett betreut, alles wurde gut erklärt. Der Schrank ist kostenlos, man muss nur 50.000 IDR Kaution hinterlegen, die man aber am Ende zurückbekommt, wenn man den Schlüssel nicht verloren hat. Man wartet dann, bis man abgeholt wird. Man wird dann per Boot zum Boot gefahren, wo das Parasailing stattfindet. Insgesamt waren wir nur 4-5 Minuten in der Luft, obwohl in der Beschreibung ja 10 stand. Das war bei allen so, die auch geflogen sind. Sehr enttäuschend in dem Punkt. Wasser hat man auch keins bekommen, auch auf Nachfrage. Das Fliegen selbst war aber sehr sehr cool, man hat eine coole
