This is a 5-hour experience from Uluwatu, built around Nusa Dua and Speedboat. It is run by Trip Gotik - Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.

We had a pretty good time and the driver was super attentive. The service was great, taking us everywhere we needed to go. Jack was always there, waiting for us throughout the trip. The weather was perfect. Snorkelling was a nice experience and seeing the turtles was pretty good.

Eigenlijk was er niets leuk aan. Het stuk om te snorkelen was zo een uitgemolken concept waardoor ik niet het water in ben gegaan en na meerdere keren gevraagd te hebben of het schildpadden centrum diervriendelijk was, bleek dit niet zo te zijn. Erg grote schildpadden in kleine tanks die constant tegen een muur aan zwemmen. Dan was er nog een toeristische attractie van gemaakt waarbij je baby schildpadden kon loslaten in de zee. De hele dag was erg teleurstellend! Zonde van het geld en de tijd!

das Geld nicht wert, schnorcheln noch das Beste, von einem Boottrip mit traditionellem Boot wusste vor Ort keiner was und Turtle vonvention center war eine 5 Minuten Tour.
