Full description
This is a 5-hour experience from Uluwatu, built around Menjangan Snorkeling Trip & Diving and Menjangan Island. It is run by Menjangan Snorkeling Trip & Diving, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Snorkelling off Nusa Penida is about the reef manta rays at Manta Point on the island's south coast, where they are present year-round, feeding and being cleaned in the swell at the base of the cliffs. Boats then move to calmer spots such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay and the wall at Buyuk for coral and fish. Between July and October, Crystal Bay is also the place divers come for the oceanic sunfish, mola mola, which rise from deep water in the cooler months. Manta Point is exposed to southern swell and boats skip it when the sea is up, so a day here is always weather-dependent. The crossing from Sanur is thirty to forty-five minutes.
The price covers shared boat trip to Menjangan Island, Two snorkeling sessions, lunch box, mineral water and Snorkeling gear. It does not cover Underwater camera, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

One of the best snorkelling experiences I’ve ever had. The tour was very well organised from start to finish—the tour operator was communicative, and the transport arrived right on time. I saw an incredible variety of coral and tropical fish, as well as multiple green turtles. The underwater scenery was beautiful and the marine life was abundant. Loved snorkelling here! We saw 2 turtles and a shark which was so cool. When our transportation was late our guides took us on their bikes. They also accommodated our vegan diet for the lunch. I would recommend this to anyone!
It was a great tour. They picked us up at our villa early, and got us set up with good quality masks, snorkels and fins. Tip, put on your swimsuit at the shop, as you will likely get some spray on the boat. The reef is very colorful with a lot of brightly colored fish. We even got lucky and saw a turtle! The guide gave us good instruction and expectations. They took great photos of us and the reef, and sent them all as a Google Drive link afterwards, when we asked for them. Well worth the time and money, easy transport to and from island, the 2 snorkelling spots they take you to are amazing, plenty of sea life, fish, coral and if you’re lucky enough like I was a couple turtles
Snorkling was amazing as the marine life was abundant. We were lucky to spend time watching two turtles doing their think in their environment. We had two sessions in two spots with colourful fish a plenty. Lots if coral & other marine life. Our two guides looked after us. Note the IRD20000 was not included in the price. & the van that collected us had no seat belts & the back seat was stuffed.

Fantastic trip, well looked after the entire time. I would highly recommend if you are planning a snorkeling trip to Mengangan Island. Lunch was great. We didn’t have an underwater camera but our guide took photo and videos of us that he sent to WhatsApp for us to purchase cheaply. Great day, with a great company.
Absolutely amazing trip from the start. Pick-up on time and everything very well organised. As long as you snorkel in the right direction (eventually) to meet back up with everyone else you can explore what you want to. Lunch was nice and the island amazing. The coral reefs are stunning and we were even lucky enough to see the turtles. Would highly recommend taking this trip to anyone.
Fantastic snorkeling trip, everything ran very smoothly and the snorkeling itself was great. We saw SO MANY diverse fish and three turtles. The guide and all the staff were fab and the lunch was delicious. Overall recommend to everyone when in north west Bali, 10/10 great value for money
