This is a 4-hour experience in Uluwatu. It is run by Balioversea, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The Bukit peninsula, the limestone block at the southern tip of Bali, holds Uluwatu temple and its Kecak, the cliff beaches, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, a 121-metre figure of Vishnu riding Garuda completed in 2018 after 28 years, which stands in a cultural park with dance performances through the day. The peninsula is dry, hot and mostly without shade, and distances between the beaches are longer than they look on a map, so a driver for the day is the usual way to see it. Sunset is at about 6:15 to 6:30 all year, and Uluwatu's cliff path fills for it.

Bardzo fajna, niebanalna wycieczka, pokazująca inne, mniej turystyczne miejsca wyspy. Wzięliśmy udział w wycieczce: żółwie + sporty wodne + kajaki. Wycieczka w dużym stopniu wspomaga lokalne biznesy które mają słaby marketing ale oferują ciekawy produkt, dlatego szczególnie polecam żeby zobaczyć tę wycieczkę i prawdziwą część bali a nie te turystyczną. Jest dużo informacji na temat ekologii i świadomości życia na Bali. Widać śmieci ale o to w tym chodzi - żeby pokazać realia i jak lokalną społeczność z tym walczy. We had an excellent day with our guide Rofik. He was very kind, friendly, professional, and always available to help. We really enjoyed the mangrove tour and the visit to the turtle sanctuary were we met incredible people, and the GWK Cultural Park, where Rofik personally showed us around and gave us interesting explanations. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful day and discovered some amazing places.

Wir hatten uns eine idyllische Kajaktour durch grüne, üppige Mangroven mit interessanten Erklärungen zur Natur und Umgebung erhofft. Stattdessen erwartete uns eine braune, stinkende Brühe voller Müll – von der beeindruckenden Mangrovenlandschaft keine Spur. Dazu gab es keinerlei Erklärungen und die Tour war gefühlt nach gerade einmal 40 Minuten vorbei. Leider eine große Enttäuschung und absolut nicht das, was wir erwartet hatten.
