This is a 8-hour experience in Uluwatu. It is run by Balioversea, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Bukit peninsula, the limestone block at the southern tip of Bali, holds Uluwatu temple and its Kecak, the cliff beaches, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, a 121-metre figure of Vishnu riding Garuda completed in 2018 after 28 years, which stands in a cultural park with dance performances through the day. The peninsula is dry, hot and mostly without shade, and distances between the beaches are longer than they look on a map, so a driver for the day is the usual way to see it. Sunset is at about 6:15 to 6:30 all year, and Uluwatu's cliff path fills for it.
Pickup is offered from Badung Regency and Kuta; the exact spot and time are agreed with Balioversea once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

From the moment we were picked up by Dodik we knew we had a great tour guide. He’s a lovely, friendly chap with great knowledge of the area. He took us to Bali Blow, a nice tranquil start to the day. We then went to the sports activity centre where we did the sea walk - excellent, glass bottomed boat - good, turtle sanctuary - ok. Back to the centre to meet Dodik who greeted us with a smile (as he did everywhere) Lunch time and we went to a restaurant that Dodik recommended and it was excellent. We had an exciting and brilliant day with the best guide you could imagine, called Komang (Komando). He knew absolutely everything about the region and the sights, and was incredibly friendly, very funny and helpful. He took care of everything so that we could simply enjoy the day. Time flew by because we had so much fun. We can definitely recommend the tour with him!
The trip was amazing. Our driver/guide Komang is extremely knowledgable, kind and helpful. He made us feel welcomed and kept us entertained throughout the day with his pointers about every place we visited. Would recommend totally, especially for the first time visitors.

The driver (called Komang) arrived on time and was very knowledgable of Bali being a local resident. The water blow was an amazing sight to witness we were lucky that it was a windy day and the waves were quite large. We could purchase extra water sporting activities when we arrived for the jet ski so we added on an ocean walk experience to see lots of sealife. The GWK cultural park was also a good experience to see the giant statue of south Bali. Lots of history behind the statue which was interesting to read as you walked through the park. We had an amazing private tour around South Bali, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. What really made the experience was our guide, Komang. He was funny, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much about Balinese culture and history along the way, which made every stop even more interesting. Mieliśmy wspaniałą wycieczkę z naszym przewodnikiem i kierowcą, Komangiem! 😊 Ma ogromną wiedzę, wszystko dokładnie nam wyjaśniał i dbał o nas na każdym kroku. Robił nam również piękne zdjęcia na pamiątkę, dzięki czemu mamy wspaniałe wspomnienia z mężem z tego dnia. Kolejnym dużym plusem było to, że dzięki niemu mogliśmy korzystać z atrakcji bez konieczności czekania w długich kolejkach po bilety. Komang był bardzo pomocny, troskliwy i profesjonalny. Komang fährt sicher durch die wuseligen Verkehrsverhältnisse. Dabei gibt er viele Einblicke in die Lebensweise, die Kultur und die Geschichte. Auch meine beiden Kids hat er gut in die Tour einbezogen und mit seinem Witz gewonnen. Er ging komplett auf unsere Wünsche und unser Tempo ein. So haben wir einiges an Wassersport, wie Jet-skiing, ocen Walk, Turtel Island und Parasailing machen. Als ich Medikament brauchte hat er mich sicher begleitet und vor Abzocke bewahrt. Wir hatten heute einen wirklich tollen Ausflug mit Rofik und können ihn absolut weiterempfehlen! Er hat uns pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt und war von Anfang an super freundlich, herzlich und sympathisch. Im Auto gab es sogar etwas zu trinken, was den Start in den Tag noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Auf dem Weg zu den verschiedenen Stationen hat Rofik uns viel über Bali erzählt und uns interessante Dinge gezeigt.
