South Bali Tour: Uluwatu Sunset, Beaches and Seafood Dinner (Uluwatu)

This is a 10-hour experience in Uluwatu, built around Turtle Conservation And Education Center, Coffee plantation and Padang Padang Beach. It is run by Travana Bali, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a cliff about 70 metres above the sea at the south-western tip of the Bukit peninsula, one of Bali's six directional temples, associated with the eleventh-century priest Empu Kuturan. The Kecak fire dance is performed in an amphitheatre beside the temple every evening at about 6:00, timed so the sunset is behind the performers; it runs around an hour, the chanting is done by a circle of men with no instruments, and the story is the Ramayana. Sarongs are provided at the gate. The temple's monkeys are practised thieves of sunglasses and phones, so keep both in a bag while walking the cliff path.

Pickup is offered from Keramas, Canggu, Ubud, Legian, Ungasan and Nusa dua; the exact spot and time are agreed with Travana Bali once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
