This is a 10-hour experience in Uluwatu, built around Benoa Bay, Nusa Dua Beach and Uluwatu. It is run by Bali Exploring Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a cliff about 70 metres above the sea at the south-western tip of the Bukit peninsula, one of Bali's six directional temples, associated with the eleventh-century priest Empu Kuturan. The Kecak fire dance is performed in an amphitheatre beside the temple every evening at about 6:00, timed so the sunset is behind the performers; it runs around an hour, the chanting is done by a circle of men with no instruments, and the story is the Ramayana. Sarongs are provided at the gate. The temple's monkeys are practised thieves of sunglasses and phones, so keep both in a bag while walking the cliff path.

It was a great tour. Padang Padang beach was busy yet still beautiful. The banana boat ride was so much fun and we paid extra to jet ski. The stop at the temple had some drama with a monkey wanting to keep my daughter’s phone 😱. Thanks to the wonderful staff it was eventually retrieved minus it’s case. The fire dance show started off a little slow but the white monkey ended up stealing the show. A long day but worth it.

I can highly recommend this Bali guide. He has so many ideas, where to go, knows all the good places and the best time to go there, so that it's not too crowded. He takes a lot individuall photos and videos of you for an unforgettable memory. We booked him for 2 days instead of 1 as planned, because he really knows what he does and it's very comfortable with him. If you want to see and explore Bali without having stress where to start and how to get there, book him! When I come back to Bali I'll do it again. Thank you very much for those memorys!

Mein Mann und ich haben diese Tour gestern zusammen mit dem Tourguide Komang gemacht und können diese Tour nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Komang ist super zuvorkommend und kennt die besten versteckten Stellen an den Stränden. Er hat super Bilder und Videos, sogar unter anderem mit seiner Drohne von uns gemacht. Sein Englisch war auch sehr gut, sodass wir ihn mit unseren eher schlechten Englischkenntnissen, sehr gut verstanden haben.
