Full description
This is a 5-hour experience in Uluwatu, built around Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Uluwatu. It is run by Hire Bali Driver, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The Bukit peninsula, the limestone block at the southern tip of Bali, holds Uluwatu temple and its Kecak, the cliff beaches, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, a 121-metre figure of Vishnu riding Garuda completed in 2018 after 28 years, which stands in a cultural park with dance performances through the day. The peninsula is dry, hot and mostly without shade, and distances between the beaches are longer than they look on a map, so a driver for the day is the usual way to see it. Sunset is at about 6:15 to 6:30 all year, and Uluwatu's cliff path fills for it.

mijn gids Marco was heel goed en ontzettend lieve jongenman, mocht mij eigen muziek afspelen in de auto. was een lange rit naar de tempel. veel verkeer heen en terug. hou daar rekening mee als je deze tour boekt. zorgt dat je iets gegeten heb of neem eten mee. neem water mee. Marco heeft ook water vraag ernaar maar zorg dat je zelf ook water bij je hebt. Tip voor de mensen die alleen reizen. zorg dat je genoeg cash geld bij je heb. zodat je voor je tickets kan betalen. Als je daar bent hou je aan de regels van de tempel. zorg dat je een sarong draagt. Je kan wel een sarong krijgen bij de tempe
Dekwi was a very nice guy and a good driver. As we were quite early in time, he suggested to make a stop at a place for coffee and tea tasting and try some Luwak coffee which was great. The Kecak Dance was a great experience not to be missed!
