This is a 6-hour experience in Uluwatu. It is run by PT Wanderlust Bali Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a cliff about 70 metres above the sea at the south-western tip of the Bukit peninsula, one of Bali's six directional temples, associated with the eleventh-century priest Empu Kuturan. The Kecak fire dance is performed in an amphitheatre beside the temple every evening at about 6:00, timed so the sunset is behind the performers; it runs around an hour, the chanting is done by a circle of men with no instruments, and the story is the Ramayana. Sarongs are provided at the gate. The temple's monkeys are practised thieves of sunglasses and phones, so keep both in a bag while walking the cliff path.

We had a incredible day we especially liked our Driver Nyoman he really took the time to explain Balinese culture on how they set up there houses when building them the importance of it right down to why house face certain directions. Listen the whole city is a art exhibit waiting to be seen all love Bali.

Really enjoyable day, Tumara was a fantastic & knowledgeable guide! He made sure we skipped the queues and pointed out the best place to sit for the fire dance, as well as taking great pictures, providing warnings about the resident monkeys (beware, they steal) and getting me safely & promptly to and from my accommodation. Jati was a great guide, thoughtful, caring, attentive, helpful, accomodating, punctual, great driver, excellent English. We had a most enjoyable time visiting the beach, the temple on the cliff and the fire dance at sunset and seafood dinner- highly recommend :-)

Transport to Uluwatu from Jimbarin was seamless and our driver Jati was excellent dealing with the traffic. He guided us through the temple with care reminding us of the risks of the monkeys, he took photos for us and organised our tickets for the dance show leaving us to do nothing but relax.The show was amazing! Jati drove us back to our hotel with care and patience which cannot be easy in the Bali traffic.We had a wonderful evening thanks to Jati .I would highly recommend this excursion .

The whole day was amazing. My driver and guide, De Ari was excellent. He was on time and drove safely from Kuta to Uluwatu and back again that night. He was very friendly and professional. He showed me around the temple grounds and even lined up, (with a long wait time in the heat), to get my ticket for the Kecak fire dance while I was free to explore the temple area. The temple grounds are very beautiful and the fire dance was incredible. It was even more special to be able to see the sunset session. Then after the show De Ari was waiting for me ready to drive me back to my hotel in Kuta. Tha

We had a wonderful day exploring the south of Bali with Tumara! We visited the beautiful Padang Padang Beach, the Uluwatu Temple with white monkeys (watch out for your belongings because they will try to steal them!!) and ended the day with an amazing sunset performance. Everything was well organized, and our guide, Tumara, was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the trip. He made the experience even more enjoyable.
nice show overall. although name 'fire dance' is a bit confusing since there is not much of actual fire dance. its more like a theatrical spectacle. it was a big queue and overall very crowded for 7pm show. I got tickets only option and this part was nice and smooth. I collected tickets inside the temple area. you still need to buy entry to the temple 60rupi
A good day from pick up to drop off. Thoroughly enjoyed Uluwatu temple ( but not the monkeys) and loved the fire dance show! Our driver Jati was terrific!! Would recommend!
