Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Uluwatu, built around Uluwatu Temple. It is run by Your Bali Trekking Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a cliff about 70 metres above the sea at the south-western tip of the Bukit peninsula, one of Bali's six directional temples, associated with the eleventh-century priest Empu Kuturan. The Kecak fire dance is performed in an amphitheatre beside the temple every evening at about 6:00, timed so the sunset is behind the performers; it runs around an hour, the chanting is done by a circle of men with no instruments, and the story is the Ramayana. Sarongs are provided at the gate. The temple's monkeys are practised thieves of sunglasses and phones, so keep both in a bag while walking the cliff path.
The price covers Transfer service, driver, Uluwatu ticket and Kecak ticket. It does not cover Dinner cost at Jimbaran, Personal expenses and Gratuities for the driver, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Your Bali Trekking Tour sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Your Bali Trekking Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Our driver, Agus, was absolutely amazing! He tailored the day trip to our preferences, making the entire experience feel personalized and enjoyable!!!
This was a good half day tour ! The guide/driver was safe, nice and made sure to give me recommendations for the dance show seating and keep me safe from the crazy monkeys ! The temple view is beautiful at sunset and the dance show was entertaining! Thank you Agus Mahawan for a great afternoon in Uluwatu🙏🙏🙏
Top effort from the lads and ladies performing the dance, ensuring the limited crowd all felt involved. Great experience would definitely recommend.
Unforgettable experience. Our guide Oddy was fantastic. He picked us up directly from our hotel and even suggested a better departure time to help us avoid the traffic. He then guided us around Uluwatu Temple and accompanied us to the traditional dance performance, which was one of the most emotional and memorable moments of our entire stay in Bali. Finally, the day ended with an excellent seafood dinner at a restaurant by the sea. There’s really not much more to add: experiences like this, with guides like Oddy, are exactly what you need to make the most of a day like this.
The view was absolutely stunning and the dance told such a beautiful story! The performers were so fun and kind, this is a must while you’re in Bali!!
Super experience! The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the temple visit with the Kecak dance was unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Everything was really perfect, Abu was the nicest guy, we are so lucky that we had him as our guide!
We had a wonderful visit to Uluwatu Temple in Bali! Our guide, Oddy, was amazing – super friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to answer our questions. He told us so much about the temple’s history and even took beautiful pictures of us. It was a perfect day and we highly recommend this experience!
The best guide ever—attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. He took care of us throughout the experience, anticipated our needs, and made everything effortless. Even with the monkeys, he kept us safe, taught us the do’s and don’ts, and made it fun. Couldn’t recommend him more! 🙈
I only did the Kecak Dance at the Karang Boma Cliff and it was SO COOL!!! Enjoyed it so much, for the alternative in the Temple you have to come 2 Hours earlier to wait in line because it’s so crowded. So this was the best Opportunity and it was just magical with the Sunset!
Had a great excursion with our driver/guide Angga! We had a lovely time tasting some coffee and tea from a local coffee plantation, touring the temple and the holy monkeys, and seeing the Kecak Dance. I definitely think it’s worth it if you have time to make it down to Uluwatu!
The Trip was Awesome and my Guide “DPUT” is so humble and friendly . He is on time and punctual to his schedule. He explains all the details in a very Historic way which makes me connect to the place in Uluwatu Temple . Highly recommended.
