Il Monte Batur e un vulcano attivo di 1.717 metri che si erge all'interno di una caldera molto piu antica, con il lago Batur sul suo fondo. Il trekking all'alba parte da Toya Bungkah, sulla riva del lago, sale per circa due ore su sabbia vulcanica e roccia friabile, e punta ad arrivare sul bordo verso le 5:30, poiche il sole sorge tra le 6:00 e le 6:30 secondo il mese, dietro il cono del Monte Agung a est. In cima, prima dell'alba, si registrano regolarmente 8-12 gradi C con vento, quindi uno strato davvero caldo conta piu di qualsiasi altra cosa tu porti con te. Il trekking e organizzato tramite l'associazione del villaggio locale, motivo per cui ogni tour, incluso il nostro, prevede una guida, e la maggior parte delle mattine si conclude alle sorgenti termali sulla riva del lago. Le versioni in jeep e ATV arrivano in auto a un punto panoramico sul fianco del vulcano per lo stesso tramonto e saltano la salita a piedi, la scelta giusta per le ginocchia, i bambini piccoli e chiunque non abbia dormito. Nella stagione delle piogge, da novembre a marzo, la cima e spesso tra le nuvole all'alba e non ci sono rimborsi per il meteo.

We had the pleasure of Arista and Gede. Arista had so much knowledge and is a very lovely man. He was SO GOOD at taking pictures while making sure we had a good time and was satisfied. Gede gave us a nice and comfortable transport and was a very nice man.
amazing! must do if you're in Bali. the view of sunrise was amazing and our jeep driver, Angga, was quite the photographer taking so many amazing photos, posing us, he was very kind and informative. our driver who brought us to and from the hotel, Dekwan, was lovely as well. they included tea/coffee and cookies before going up the mountain and a simple breakfast at the top, and then we got to explore the black lava area as well. on the way home we stopped by a coffee plantation where they gave us a generous amount of free samples of coffee and tea which was lovely. I definitely recommend!
We loved the activity, it s just stunning & we got the chance to have 2 awesome guides ; Albon & Kadek kutra whom have been so nice, kind, helpful & so much more. Everything is taking care of and you just have to let you drive though the experience by this profesionales. Recommend 10000%

Rika was an excellent driver and guide bringing us to every spot. Our guide and driver at Mount Batur was also very kind and took many photos of us. They were both amazing and the tour was great!!! We loved the ziplining as well

This was one of the most magical mornings of my life. Watching the sun rise over Mount Batur was absolutely breathtaking — a golden sky spilling over the mountains and lake, with the world still wrapped in quiet.
