Il Monte Batur e un vulcano attivo di 1.717 metri che si erge all'interno di una caldera molto piu antica, con il lago Batur sul suo fondo. Il trekking all'alba parte da Toya Bungkah, sulla riva del lago, sale per circa due ore su sabbia vulcanica e roccia friabile, e punta ad arrivare sul bordo verso le 5:30, poiche il sole sorge tra le 6:00 e le 6:30 secondo il mese, dietro il cono del Monte Agung a est. In cima, prima dell'alba, si registrano regolarmente 8-12 gradi C con vento, quindi uno strato davvero caldo conta piu di qualsiasi altra cosa tu porti con te. Il trekking e organizzato tramite l'associazione del villaggio locale, motivo per cui ogni tour, incluso il nostro, prevede una guida, e la maggior parte delle mattine si conclude alle sorgenti termali sulla riva del lago. Le versioni in jeep e ATV arrivano in auto a un punto panoramico sul fianco del vulcano per lo stesso tramonto e saltano la salita a piedi, la scelta giusta per le ginocchia, i bambini piccoli e chiunque non abbia dormito. Nella stagione delle piogge, da novembre a marzo, la cima e spesso tra le nuvole all'alba e non ci sono rimborsi per il meteo.

Agus was a great amazing guide and jeep driver on our Mount Batur sunrise tour who was patient with us in taking good photos for all our family during sunrise and before. Fendi was a friendly, gentle and patient driver who was on time at 3am for hotel pick-up and was very patient in helping us in the hotsprings and very flexible in stopping us at a waterfall on our way back to Ubud hotel. I can recommend Agus and Fendi enough! Good communication was also provided in preparation the day before!
Tour started off with an early morning pickup from the hotel. Activities were fun and worthwhile. Rama was an outstanding driver which great hospitality. He remained in constant communication before the tour date and throughout.
Marik was very friendly, kind and helpful. We had a wonderful experiance with our guide! He made us feel welcomed and very comfortable. Highly recommended!!
A must if you’re in Bali, this was one of my favourite experiences while travelling the views are just amazing. Ari, our transfer driver was so kind and even stopped at a coffee plantation for us to try various teas/coffees. Ares, our jeep tour guide was so friendly and even took us through the off beaten path through this gorgeous village with backdrops of the mountains & Mount Batur where none of the other jeeps went!
The tour was absolutely amazing. Our driver, Kadek, was very patient, friendly, and made the drive feel safe and smooth. The Jeep sunrise tour was truly breathtaking, the views were incredible, and it was such a memorable experience, our Jeep driver, Doress, was also very kind and helpful, and he took some amazing pictures of us and really went the extra mile to make the experience special I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ubud, it was an unforgettable

We had an amazing experience on the Mount Batur sunrise tour! Everything was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed every moment of it. A special thank you to our driver Yoga — he was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. He took us to all the places we wanted to visit and made sure we had a great experience throughout the whole day. He is truly an amazing person and a fantastic driver! We also want to thank Amud, who was super kind and made absolutely incredible photos for us. He captured so many beautiful moments and made the experience even more special. An incredible Jeep experience to watch the sunrise at Mount Batur! We especially want to mention Putra Lastchild, who was our driver from Ubud. He was super friendly, punctual, and attentive to us throughout the whole experience. He picked us up from our hotel in Ubud at the agreed time, drove us to Mount Batur, and, once the experience was over, took us safely back to our hotel without any problems. Everything was very easy and comfortable thanks to him. Furthermore, our driver in the Jeep, Jero Kadek, was also absolutely amazing with us from the very beginning. He was very friendly, attentiv
