Full description

This is a 3.5-hour experience from Hiroshima, built around Bus/coach, Ferry and Itsukushima Shrine. It is run by AMIGO TOURS JAPAN GK, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.

The price covers Bilingual guide in Spanish and English, Transportation from the meeting point, Admission to the Itsukushima Shrine and Ferry ticket. It does not cover Lunch, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

AMIGO TOURS JAPAN GK sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with AMIGO TOURS JAPAN GK before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Angelaiss was excellent. Very very knowledgeable. Loves to tell stories related to history of Japan and the tour spots with a lots of hand movements. She brings it alive and one can start imaging a story in their mind listening to her. She will make a good professor 😍😍😍

The booking arrival and getting on the tour was easy and clear. Communication was great. The bus had air-conditioning and was comfortable and got us towards to go safely. The Miyajima Island was a lot of fun. Great food, all along the way and souvenir. Our guide. Angeles is fantastic and both English and Spanish. Our driver, Oe-San, was super friendly with lots of emotion. This isn’t for the Guide or the bus driver but it would’ve been nice to have earphones to be able to hear information along the walks.

Miyajima did not disappoint. Beautiful area. our guide, Angeles was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and gave us all the history. She had great stories to share too. She made sure we all knew where we were going and that we didn't miss any sights. Thank you Angeles! Could not have asked for a better guide!

I loved these places we visited and the guide Alex was very informative on everything, I really appreciated how he explained things. I would have liked more time at the various places but apart from this everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful day with Alejandro and Kita, they guided us around and gave us enough free time to explore the locations. The information provided was amazing and gave us an insight we otherwise would not have had. Would absolutely do it again.
