Full description
This is a 4-hour experience from Hiroshima, built around Train, Ferry and Miyajima. It is run by M2N Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.
The price covers Guided Tour and Visit to Daisho-in Temple. It does not cover Transportation Cost, Food and Entrance fee to the attractions, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with M2N Tours before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
We had a wonderful tour today! Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She guided us through various significant spots of Miyajima, showed us some great shops and explained us all kinds of cultural and historical topics. We were able to go up right to the Torii Gate, as it was low tide and had a beautiful atmosphere all day with great weather. We fell in love with the island and we‘re sure to remember it as one of our highlights on our Japan trip!
One of the highlights of our trip to Japan was the tour we took. Our guide, Jose, was pleasant, informative, and engaging. Despite the heat, she ensured our comfort throughout the tour. We were able to walk at our own pace and had the opportunity to visit several sites—actually, we explored even more than we initially planned. The floating Torii gate was stunning; we were fortunate to see it during both high and low tides. In the evening, we walked to the gate when it was low tide, which was a memorable experience. The Daishoen temple complex proved to be a hidden gem, featuring numerous beaut
