This is a 2-hour experience in Hiroshima. It is run by City Unscripted, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.

Our guide Kaku was amazing. He took us to the local hotspots that tend to not where the tourists go including this incredible curry restaurant. Both my partner and myself don't like curry all the much but decided to give it a try as it had been a while and walked away from the meal being easily one of the best meals we had. He was very knowledge and easy to talk too.
a really personal welcome by Ken our guide who shared a lot of insights with us. he speaks great English, easy to understand and shares a lot of insights also from his personal family history in Hiroshima. he shared a lot of information about the A-bomb diem, the peace memorial and the japanese garden. Next to the historical sights the restaurant Okamoto's has been a real highlight.

Exceptional Hiroshima Tour with Masa: A Journey of Insight and Generosity We had the tour of Hiroshima with Masa. Despite the rain, she led us through the city and adjusted the program according to the weather. We visited the Museum of Peace together, and she kindly covered the entrance fee for us due to the unfortunate weather. The museum admission is not usually included in the program, so we truly appreciated Masa's generosity. We especially liked that she is a native of Hiroshima herself, providing us with great insight into the life of Hiroshima and its history. Masa also shared a lot of
