Full description

This is a 7-hour experience in Hiroshima, built around Tram, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Local restaurant. It is run by AIDO, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.

The price covers Hotel pickup, Bilingual guide and Momiji manju. It does not cover Transportation, Museum & shrine entry, Lunch and Personal drinks, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Hiroshima. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with AIDO before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

The personal service of my guide, Kaku. I normally book small group tours as I enjoy meeting fellow travelers, but there was no availablity. I have been dozens of tours around the world and this was one of the best. Private, one on one, customized. Besides the big sights, there were many elements I would have missed. These included sweet shop, tea house with history lesson, knife shop, local juice stand, basement near epicenter where a person survived. Plenty of time in the museum. Thank you Kaku, Great tour with great guide. Thanks for an awesome day.

Kaku made sure we had a unique day in Hiroshima and Miyajima. On top of that he facilitated that we got to get a custummade stamp that we were looking for. The day was entirely made to fullfill our wishes. He KNOWS a lot about the history of the sites we visited and quietly made sure we saw everything - even when there were a lot of other tourists around. Make sure to taste the lemonade and oysters in Miyajima. We would give 6 stars of we could and warmly recommend Kaku!!

Alles lecker Food!!! Sehr freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend! Bestnote für Kaku von AIDO!!!
