Our day was perfect. Our guide, Masa, was communicative before the trip, and very flexible with timing and activities for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We learned so much of the history and monuments at the Peace Park, then a boat to Miyajima, where we explored the market, shrine and Tori gate, and Masa knew all the best stores, helped us sample the local foods, and even helped with souvenirs. She was so nice, patient and informative. We were so lucky to have her with us. She made the day soecial.

We were picked up from our hotel by Tomoe, who was absolutely wonderful. Even though we overslept, she waited for us very patiently and kindly. She took great care of us throughout the entire experience, providing food, showing us the smoking areas, offering lovely little snacks, and even taking care of the rubbish. :) She explained everything very clearly and guided us at a perfect pace. Minori was a wonderful guide and we had a great time with her! She gave us options for things to do every step of the way and left the decisions up to us. She took us all over Miyajima and showed us things we would not have seen on our own. We learned a lot and had such a great time. Our tour guide was Aike. She took my dad and I around Hiroshima and fit the itinerary to meet our needs. Not only was she incredible knowledgeable but she was flexible and kind. She took us to an amazing traditional hiroshima lunch, took us to Miyajima island, the Hiroshima castle, the peace memorial museum and park, and also a market. We enjoyed our time with her very much and wish we could have her as a guide for every city. I highly recommend you do a private tour with her!

This was a great way to efficiently see Miyajima and the Peace Memorial and museum. Our guide, Miyuki, a local native, was very knowledgeable about the sights, the history of the city, and added personal family history and perspective about the effects of the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima and the aftermath.
