Full description

This is a 2-hour experience in Hiroshima, built around Gates of Peace, Prayer Fountain and Hiroshima Victims Memorial Cenotaph. It is run by F and five., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.

The price covers Visit to the Atomic Bomb Dome, Visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Walk with guide. It does not cover Food and drinks and Transportation, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

1-2 Nakajimachō, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0811, Japan. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with F and five. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

The Hiroshima Peace Park, Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome Tour is a “must do” when visiting Hiroshima. It provides a powerful reminder of the need to learn from past history to ensure a peaceful future. Haq, our guide, was incredible- passionate about spreading the message of peace and full of knowledge and insights beyond what one would experience from a s elf tour. I definitely recommend this tour with Haq.

My wife & I were the only people on the tour on this day so we had are own personal tour guide. Maria was lovely, nothing was too much trouble, she answered all our questions and was extremely knowledgeable, she was a joy to spend the time with and also gave wonderful advice on how we could spend the rest of our day in Hiroshima.

Hak was the best guide we have ever met. The combination of great knowledge, excellent communicating skills and a lot of humor worked really well. Especially on a topic like this. He also helped us to one of his favourite sushi places. When you have the opportunity ask for Hak and say hi for us. Greetings Jan and Ellen.

Excellent visit ! We learn so much. Léo was a guide very informative, know so much and happy to transfer us so much information. The visit of the Park and monuments take 2h. Then we have plenty of Time to visit the muséum by ourself. I love the formula and we appreciate Léo for all that information. Good luck !!

Maria was an exceptional tour guide, the best that we have had on the entire trip. Not only was she knowledgeable about the history, but she delivered the information in a way that catered to adults, teens and kids in our family. It was a very hot day, so she made sure we were in shaded areas as much as possible throughout the outdoor portions. I would highly recommend this tour!
