Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Hiroshima, built around Gates of Peace, Mother and Baby in the Storm and Prayer Fountain. It is run by Voyagers Co LLC, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.
The price covers Guided tour and Entrance to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Hall for Atomic Bomb. It does not cover Food and drink and Transport, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Taxi stand Peace Memorial Park. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Voyagers Co LLC before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
