Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Hiroshima, built around Prayer Fountain, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Flame of Peace. It is run by One Ten Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.
The price covers Live guided tour, Guided walking tour of Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park, Visit to the UNESCO-listed Atomic Bomb Dome, Children's Monument for Peace and Peace Bell. It does not cover Transportation to and from the meeting point, Hotel pick-up and drop-off, Personal expenses and Animals, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
4-11 Nakajimachō, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0811, Japan. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with One Ten Tours before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
Sheraz was very informative and knowledgeable about the Hiroshima Peace park. He was happy to answer any questions and spend time explaining about the area.
Dit was een grote toevoeging op deze bijzondere plaats. We hadden Syed als gids en hij heeft veel kennis over de geschiedenis en de verschillende monumenten. We hadden het niet willen missen.
Unfortunately, this tour did not meet our expectations. We were a group of about 14 people, all very interested in Hiroshima’s history, but the guide had a tense and authoritarian attitude, like being in a strict classroom. This made the experience uncomfortable and caused us to lose interest instead of enjoying and learning from the tour.
