Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Hiroshima. It is run by sketch, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park sits on the ground beneath the point where the bomb detonated at 8:15 on 6 August 1945. The A-Bomb Dome, the skeleton of the industrial promotion hall, was left as it stood; the Peace Memorial Museum reopened in 2019 after a redesign and takes about two hours, and is not for young children. The Children's Peace Monument is hung with paper cranes sent from around the world. Hiroshima's own food is okonomiyaki layered with noodles, eaten at counters in Okonomimura. Miyajima is 40 minutes away and most visitors combine the two in one day.
The price covers Japanese sake tasting experience, Several kinds of local Hiroshima sake, Introduction to Japanese sake culture, Guided experience with a host and Indoor cultural experience space access. It does not cover Transportation to the venue, Meals and additional drinks, Hotel pickup and drop-off and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Traveler Reviews
Very interesting to learn about the different types of Sake, how it’s brewed and how this makes a difference to taste, aroma etc. the host was very friendly. I went with my partner and we don’t speak much Japanese so communication was through a translator and some bits were lost in translation but on the whole was still very good. It would have been nice to learn more about how Sake is used in Japanese culture and the traditions related to it
