Full description

This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Oshino Hakkai and Kitaguchi-hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine. It is run by Travels on peak, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.

Pickup is offered from Tokyo, Fujiyoshida, Fujikawaguchiko and Hakone; the exact spot and time are agreed with Travels on peak once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

To start there is not enough stars to give! I could give 100+ stars to this tour ond Shomo he was fantastic. Far exceeded expectations gave us lots of popular things to do without even knowing to ask for the like the jet boat round the lake. He was so knowledgeable and as a second job he should really be a photographer too as he took amazing photos of us! Great communication, we were up early to beat the troffic and crowds. When you book moke sure to ask for Shomo!!!

This had to be the highlight of our Tokyo trip!!! Our guide Shomu was simply the best we could have wished for. Great communication, exactly on time and gave us suggestions on the route based on the places I picked. We got lucky with perfect view of Mt Fuji and he even took some pics for us. He was a safe driver and pleasant throughout. I would recommend this private tour to anyone. Our guide even recommended a delicious lunch and a tour of the lake on a speedboat. What an experience

What a great tour! Yoshi was a wonderful guide and knew exactly how to maximize the time so we got to spend time at each site without being rushed but still got to do many things. The boat trip around the lake was a wonderful way to get beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. So happy we chose to do this tour!

Wonderful experience! Hasan picked us up at the hotel and took us through an amazing journey! He knew the exact stops to go, knew the plces where to take the best pictures! We saw all we wanted and even more thanks to him! I totally recommend this tour and try to ask for Hasan as your guide, you will love him! Shaon was a fantastic guide who made sure we could see as much of Japan as possible in our time together. Excellent advice on where to enter the locations of interest, took us to a konbini when we needed supplies and gave us some great info about the area and living in Japan. Best money we've spent on a tour so far in Japan. As a small family group (2 adults and one child) this was a super convenient way to see Hakone!

This was an excellent trip that went exactly as I had hoped for--easy, enjoyable, and hassle-free. Our guide, Fahdi, was awesome with making us feel comfortable and informed. His suggestions for our trip (it was my family's first time at Mount Fuji) worked out amazingly. We also benefited from perfect weather and small crowds due to this not being the busy season. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that we are happy to have enjoyed.

Our tour guide Ahmad was excellent. We told him what we wanted to visit and wanted to have a relaxed experience. Highlight of the tour was stop at Herb Garden near Mt Fuji that Ahmad took us to. This is a must visit spot with excellent view of Mt Fuji from the terrace. Rest of the trip was equally good. He is very knowledgable. Highly recommend.
