Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Bus/coach, Arakurayama Sengen Park and Hikawa Clock Shop. It is run by Wandering Japan Adventure, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.
The price covers Admission to attractions, English / Chinese / Japanese-speaking tour guide, Tourist air-conditioned coach bus, Pick up and drop off at meeting point and driver. It does not cover Meals and beverages and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Wandering Japan Adventure sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Wandering Japan Adventure before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

We had such a wonderful time and worth every penny. Sia was our tour guide and knowledgeable. We love her personality and pictures she had helped our group take. The driver drove safely and was very respectful & cordial to everyone so please make sure to tip your driver and tour guide. They pre-select a lunch menu and food was delicious. We had a great day as we got lucky to see a glimpse of Mt Fuji.
It was the beginning of the First Day of Spring so it was a holiday and the traffic was busy, but that was not anyone's fault. We still had the best day exploring so many beautiful places and eating some delicious food along the way. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Thankyou so much for an amazing day 💗
Thanks to our professional and kind tourguide Sia, we saw a lot of fantastic places. The extra support via Text Message was perfect to get additional help on the way. We would book another tour with Sia on our next visit.
Absolutely brilliant tour, our guide Sia was perfect, and so was the driver, highly recommend
Mila was very pleasant and gave great snack recommendations. It was hard to find her with all of the other tour groups going on. There were several with the same color flag and vest but she had a sign with her name which helped to find her.
Sato is Good guide, it was cool and fun, we appreciate, good trip tokay !
The tour was wonderful. Besides the perfect day, the guide Yuma was great, very friendly and spoke calmly (which was important for me to understand the language). Visiting the Chureito Pagoda in the morning is the best option and all the stops were worthwhile! I recommend!
We did the tour with Yuma as our guide and from the very start it was organised and fun. We managed to climb the stairs to see Fuji from a scenic view, saw the clear ponds, took lawson photos and the beautiful oishi park too.
The bus was well maintained, guide Anna was very polite cordial and helpful.
we had a fantastic day, great weather for viewing Mt Fuji. Our tour guide Anna, was truly amazing. extremely professional and very knowledgeable. she went into detail and explained everything and history behind. we would recommend her as guide again.
A very beautiful experience. I would especially like to thank Erina for her dedication and kindness. She was caring, very dynamic, and genuinely smiling. She made the experience even more wonderful.
Transportation was good. Our guide Peter’s enthusiasm was infectious
