Full description

This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Bus/coach, Hakone Shrine and Peace Torii. It is run by SEIKO CO.,LTD., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.

The trip was very nice, we had enough time to enjoy the sights, the view to mountain Fuji, the trip in the lake Asi, the funicular and the volcanic area, everything was perfect. The meal was typical Japanese. We didn't lose any time; we had ordered and paid in the bus and when we arrived at the restaurant the meal was already served. The best part of the tour was our tour guide Housei, who organized this excursion. He was excellent.

The weather was perfect today, and we were able to see Mt. Fuji from many different angles. The mountain looked different in size from the Yamanashi side and the Shizuoka side, and both views were truly beautiful. Kosei-san has a calm personality and explained everything very well, so everyone was delighted. If we have another chance, I would love to visit Mt. Fuji again via a different route. Go
