This is a 11.5-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Bus/coach, Lawson Fujikawaguchiko Town hall and Arakurayama Sengen Park. It is run by TOURSTORY Japan, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.

O tour é bem organizado e pontual. Nossa guia Golddy estava sempre alegre e simpática ao nos explicar sobre as paradas e nos receber de volta no ônibus. Todos os lugares que paramos eram lindos e valem o passeio por si, mesmo que em alguns deles não tenhamos visto o Monte Fuji por conta do clima. Não há paradas somente para almoço, mas em todas elas há o que comer, seja restaurantes ou lojas de conveniência. Em geral tivemos uma ótima experiência.

This day tour from Tokyo to see Mt Fuji and a few other sites of interest was very enjoyable. It was organised in such a way as to give you enough time to explore and experience each venue at your own pace. However compared to other tours that I did recently in Korea and Japan there were a few negative aspects to this particular tour. Although it was advertised as a tour for English speaking tourists it seemed to cater more to Korean nationals. The guide Golddy was very professional and helpful but as a non Korean speaking traveller I had to listen to long periods of Korean descriptions of sit
