This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Mount Yoshino, Tsubosakadera Shutokukai and Nara Park. It is run by Pegasus観光株式会社, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.

This was a great day! 3 of the stops we wanted to do and the driver was careful and friendly! I wish we had more time at Mt Yoshino as 3 hours was too little and felt rushed. Would definitely book again!

Despite the weather we enjoyed the day. Our driver looked after us very well, however, he did not provide any commentary of the sites we visited and was just the driver not a guide. This should be stated on the GYG site to ensure we do the research prior to the trip.

Der Tagesausflug war sehr schön und eigentlich sehr gut organisiert Aber: Leider wurde dem Guide nicht mitgeteilt, dass unser Kosten für die Sehenswürdigkeiten bereits inkludiert sind, dies konnte aber mit ihm wunderbar und problemlos geklärt werden. Dass die anderen Mitglieder der Reisegruppe ständig zu spät gekommen sind (separate Reisegruppe), dafür konnte er auch nichts und er war wirklich sehr bemüht

3h Zeit am Berg Yoshino sind zu kurz. Man wir irgendwo unten rausgelassen, vollkommen ohne Info (z.B. dass es eine Seilbahn gibt, dass man mit Bussen ganz hoch fahren kann etc ). Schon für die Orientierung geht eine halbe Stunde verloren, hinzu kommen Anstehzeiten (>20Min) für Bus oder Seilbahn. die Zeit für den Tempelstop ist zu lang. Nara dagegen lohnt bei einer Aufenthaltsdauer von 1h nicht. Wenn man nur wegen der Rehe kommt, dann vielleicht - allerdings gibt es am Nachmittag kein Futter mehr zu kaufen. Tempelbesucher sind in dieser kurzen Zeit nicht möglich.
