Full description
This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Bus/coach, Hakone Shrine and Hakone ShrineSightseeing cruise. It is run by Wandering Japan Adventures, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.
The price covers Sightseeing route, Hakone Ropeway ticket, guide, Comfortable transportation and All taxes and handling fees. It does not cover Personal expenses, Hakone Pirate Ship cruise ticket on Lake Ashi JPY 1,700 per, Optional activities or experiences chosen on site and Any items or services not specifically listed under “What’s, so budget for those separately. Traveler Reviews
Our trip was amazing. We took our 8 year old, we saw Mount Fuji from several different clear angles, ate A5 Waygu beef, our guide, Kousei was right there with us the entire time offering to take photos for people and keeping track of all of us. I may have not found the bus if he didn’t track us down in all the people! He made the experience top tier.
Kousei was our guide, we kept the time and the trip went well.
