Full description

This is a 10-hour experience from Mount Fuji, built around Lake Ashi, Owakudani and Enoshima Island. It is run by Japan Visionary Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Mount Fuji is 3,776 metres, Japan's highest mountain and an active volcano that last erupted in 1707. Day tours from Tokyo go to the Fuji Five Lakes on its north side, about two hours away: Lake Kawaguchiko for the classic reflection view, Oshino Hakkai's spring-fed ponds, the Chureito Pagoda above Fujiyoshida with the mountain behind it, and often the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres when the road is open, roughly April to November. The summit is climbable only in July and August. Fuji is visible on roughly a third of days and most often in winter mornings; from June to September it is hidden in cloud more often than not, and no operator can promise the view, so the lakes and the pagoda are planned as worth the day on their own.

The day trip was fantastic! Riding on the pirate ship was a really fun experience, and the ropeway offered an incredible view of the volcanic sulfur. Enoshima was beautiful I’d definitely recommend paying for the escalator. It saves a lot of time and energy on the way up. Just FYI that it’s one way only, so you’ll need to take the stairs back down. Our tour guide, Kevin Liu, was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the trip. I highly recommend this tour! 👍🏽

We had an amazing day trip seeing so many different things we enjoyed the ropeway and the pirate cruise. We took the opportunity to try the black eggs. They were very nice. Kate was our guide very informative and helpful. We had a late lunch of grilled octopus at one of the oceanfront restaurants. We walked to the third temple up all the stairs and enjoyed the view and seeing the water dragon fountain and all the worshipping areas. Fantastic tour highly recommend.

Brewster is really nice and a good guide! I had an amazing day through Enoshima to Hakone! Really recommend this tour if you want to visit a more natural side of Japan, and maybe have a chance to see Mt Fuji on a clear day 🤭🤭

Tour was great and the weather was fine with clear views of Mt. Fuji. Owakkudani volcanic vents were very interesting. The visit to Enoshima was a lovely bonus. Busy weekend with people surfing and enjoying the beach. Kate did a fine job keeping everyone organized and on schedule. 😀

The trip was great and Pin (Our tour guide) was wonderful. He told us the history of both the location we were visiting and the country as a whole. The locations were beautiful especially going to the caves of Enoshima. Absolutely would recommend!

It was great, group size was just right, the itinerary was a good mix and our guide, Kishida was very sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. I just wish we had more time at Enoshima to explore more and enjoy the street food. Maybe offer an overnight accommodation and add the cave to the itinerary?
